After going viral, an Internet video soon leads to problems for teenager Audrey and seemingly serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the small town of Lakewood;;;;;;;;;;;;s troubled past, high school student Nina and her boyfriend Tyler are brutally murdered which soon rattles Lakewood to a murderer who struck 20 years ago. At the same time, the town;;;;;;;;;;;;s sheriff is joined by the medical examiner, Emma;;;;;;;;;;;;s mom, in investigating the murder, as they fear it may be connected to a dark chapter in the town;;;;;;;;;;;;s past.
